OVERFLOWING HANDS SERVES CHILDREN IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS, ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD.

My first experience with Overflowing Hands was a mission trip to Nicaragua to document the trip through the lens of my camera. What I saw was selflessness, compassion and an unwavering passion to help those who need it most. I went in with an open mind and open heart and returned ignited by the power of love.

How We Serve

Overflowing Hands gathers resources to serve the most vulnerable children of the world. Resources are used to support communities in a special, personal way with 100% of your gifts directly supporting children's programs.

Serving can be as basic as providing food, clothing, shelter, and health care to children; going on a mission trip to build a Hope Center, rebuild a home, volunteer at a youth camp or help deliver youth development strategies to teenagers. Host families provide rest to Belarussian children living in areas contaminated from the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. In the United States, we partner with non-profit organizations providing meals for children that are food insecure, protection from abuse and neglect, access to organized sports, and activities that promote healthy lifestyles and mental wellness.

Internationally, Overflowing Hands partners with ministries in Nicaragua (Empowered Dreamers), Young Life Bahamas, Madrid Spain (House of Nations) to serve some of the most vulnerable children. We also partner with Kingdom Christian Academy to serve communities in the commonwealth of Puerto Rico (a US territory). Our goal is to provide local communities with leadership training, resources, youth development programs, camps and mentoring programs so they learn to care for their children. In very poor communities, we build Hope Centers. These facilities are transforming neighborhoods and the children they serve. A Hope Center is a facility used as a community center, a feeding center, a youth center for after-school activities, a foster home and a church.

Overflowing Hands is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and the state of North Carolina as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a charitable purpose that focuses on children, providing relief to the poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged.

All donations are eligible for charitable tax-deductions. 100% of your gifts are used to support children's programs. Together with our hundreds of volunteers, donors and supporters, Overflowing Hands is reshaping lives by gathering resources to serve the most vulnerable children of the world.
